This is the letter I received regarding Monday’s school shows:
“Dennis Regling engaged the students right away with the Magic of Science. I think the kids really enjoyed the messes he was creating from the eruption of baking soda and acid, making snow, and learning about how chemical reactions happen. He definitely tricked me with some of the optical illusions and the students looked like they were enjoying them too. He showed the students how electricity can go through a teacher to turn on a light bulb and light up students’ shoes. I think he did a great job with including the students and teachers in the assembly.

When he asked for a volunteer I think everyone of the students raised their hands. The students were responding to his questions and they were so polite during the assembly. Dennis even said when he raised his had to quiet the students, “it was magic”, because they were immediately quiet.

At the PTA meeting they teachers were really impressed with assembly. They said the best trick that Dennis did was at the end when he was able to get the students settled and focused on going back to the classrooms. Dennis, they made it back without a peep!

Thank you again for all that you did for our school. The easiest thing I ever have done for the PTA was having you perform the assembly at our school.”
