If it Gets to the Dinner Table, You Win!
Imagine engaging your students on such a level that they go home each day, bursting with wonder and exploration, excited to tell their family over dinner all about what they learned.
Learning is fun. BUT – it takes knowledge and enthusiasm on the part of the teacher to bring that fun out.
For the last 16 years, I have been creating and presenting science shows and workshops that bring that fun to the dinner table!
“Thank you, Dennis. As I’m sure you anticipated, kids were talking about the assembly all day long. We had our Back to School Picnic the night of the assembly and I heard great feedback from many parents. We appreciated the content and delivery that was appropriate for children in grades 1-5. That’s no easy task, but you kept them interested and engaged! Thank you, again and feel free to share my comments with others who may be interested in booking an assembly.”

Whether a science show, a hands-on workshop or your daily class plan, activities should both build anticipation for learning and create memorable experiences.
One of the most exciting things for me is doing teacher in-service programs and teacher workshops to share my ideas and experience with the people who are with the students every day.
I also have hands-on science workshops where teachers can enjoy doing some amazing and fun science experiments, while learning new ways to incorporate science into reading, math and other areas of daily instruction.
