Dennis Regling Brings His Amazing Mysteries Of Mathematics School Show To Medina, Ohio

H.G.Blake Elementary School recently invited me to present “The Amazing Mysteries Of Mathematics Show” as part of their family math night.
The show includes some fun demonstrations in estimating, topology and compound interest/doubling. There is magic mixed in throughout the show. With the wide range of ages, the math includes simple counting and subtraction for the younger ones and an engaging demonstration of mathematical prediction for the older students. No matter the grade level though, all the demonstrations are presented in fun and often humorous ways that capture the imagination of everyone in attendance.

With lots of volunteers up front, parents enjoyed seeing their children become part of the show. Many more students were involved, as many questions are posed to the audience.

For me, it was a really fun night. The folks at the school were so welcoming and helpful. Afterwards, many parents and students came up to me with questions about things they saw in the show and how they could do them at home. All in all, it was a great night for me and the school community.
“Your show was very entertaining and informative. I enjoyed hearing all of the laughter and joy of the students. I also liked seeing so many hands raised in excitement to be involved.
You did a great job. Thank you for coming to Medina!”
