Challenge a friend to blow the piece of paper  into the bottle (maybe place a sporting bet on it if you want to profit  from science!). Try it &#8211; the piece of paper will come flying out!<\/div>\n<div style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"color: #08389a;\"><strong><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"bernoulli principal\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-1366\" height=\"217\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.sublimescience.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/the-empty-bottle-experiment_clip_image006.jpg?resize=289%2C217\" title=\"free experiment\" width=\"289\" \/>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"color: #08389a;\"><strong>What&#8217;s going on?<\/strong> <\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"font-size: 16px;\">This is all to do with Bernoulli&#8217;s principle &#8211;  he&#8217;s one of those scientists that everyone&#8217;s heard of but by no means  everyone can remember what he said!<\/div>\n<div style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"color: #08389a;\"><strong><\/strong><\/span>Bernoulli  noticed that air has a lower pressure when it&#8217;s moving more quickly. As  you blow into the mouth of the bottle the air is moving fastest &#8211; so is  at the lowest pressure. Inside the bottle the air is moving more slowly  &#8211; so a higher pressure. As the pressure is higher inside the bottle  than in the mouth this pushes the paper out!<\/div>\n<div style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"color: #08389a;\"><strong>More Fun Please &#8211; Experiment like a real scientist!<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">What happens if you don&#8217;t use a piece of paper? What else could you try instead?<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Is it possible?
