Dennis Regling is a professional educator and author. Dennis has been building puppets for going on 10 years. This blog is here to share Dennis’ ideas and tips on puppet building.
Dennis owes many thanks to Barry Gordemer, Drew Allison, Barbara Dewey, Noreen Young, Verna Finley and BJ Guyer for their instructional materials. Many of the techniques and ideas Dennis shares either come directly or were inspired by their materials.
Dennis & Karen Regling have been ministering to children in churches since 1998. Using puppets, magical demonstrations, amazing object lessons, and engaging lessons, the Reglings have given the gospel to thousands of children and adults.
In addition to preaching revival meetings, Dennis and his family present programs for special events, family days and Vacation Bible Schools.
Every summer, the Reglings present week-long VBS programs. They bring music, puppets, object lessons and preaching that engages and encourages young and old alike. They put no fee on the ministry and will help churches no matter how small and how small the budget.
The Reglings are able to help churches without being a financial burden. Dennis presents science shows and other educational programs in schools through the school year. This allows them to spend the summers ministering and also the freedom to schedule church events and revival meetings throughout the year.
Dennis has also written several books to help those in puppet ministry and childrens ministry.
